Archive and Document Scanning have introduced a book scanning service. We can digitise all books including historic books without the need to take the books apart.
Archive and Document Scanning can scan and digitise archived and historic books without the need to take the books apart. The most cost effective method of scanning books is to remove the spine of the book, and then scanning the pages on a duplex scanner. If removing the spine is not an option, then we will use one of our book scanners specially designed to scan the open pages of a book. The scanner effectively acts like a camera and takes a photo of each page. It even has software to remove the curvature of the page. This means that you get perfectly scanned images without damaging the book in anyway. This scanning process is ideal for rare and historic books and magazines.
